Lean stalling after about 10 minutes. Twice now A local shop said they found a crimped gas line but it still does the same thing. Today I checked the boot and both lines look fine. It starts first pull right after it stalls. Then runs good another few minutes and stalls. Should I try a carb kit?

Carb cleaning - screen may have debris. Kit - diaphragms may be stiff.
Outside chance - impulse line cracked.
AM carbs cost just a little more than a kit.

Partially blocked pickup body or a blocked air vent might show this symptom (delayed leaning out)
Next time it leans out try opening the tank cap and then closing it. Check if there is a difference.
Replace the pickup body

I had one that would make up cuts fine and stall on down cuts. where the fuel line comes out of the tank, in that space under the air box, there was too much fuel line. when you really leaned on it the AV springs would let the rear handle come up some and it would kink the line right there and stall the saw.

kinda hard to explain and hard to see. hope you didn't just confuse you.

If its an X-Torq version, vac test it. If you don't have that ability, get it running....and when it starts acting lean shoot some brake cleaner up in the clutch area and see if that shuts it off....if it does the bearing is shot. If not pull the cover and try with the little red tube to get a spray in and around the intake boot. Eliminate those common leak issues with those saws...you will feel better in the morning. OR not.
