Compression 120 p.s.i. unit has spark. Originally came in would start but would die out when giving it throttle. Has set for a little over a week and now will not even start. Still have spark and compression still at 120 p.s.i. Don't want to just a throw a carburetor at it but that's the direction I'm leaning. I am also seeing fuel in and around the solenoid area on the carburetor. Found this kinda odd thinking this should be a sealed solenoid. Not all that familiar with this carburetor setup and any help greatly appreciated.

When the saw is not starting for you, and you pull out the spark plug is it wet or dry?

120psi is too low. Typically that would produce just the symptom you are describing, starts and dies. Suggest pulling the muffler and takin a look at the piston.
