New Mill Owner Questions
« on: July 03, 2013, 10:57:27 AM »
Neil, I just finished assembling my new Woodlands Mill. Almost everything is fine, except a few minor problems. The roller pin on the rt. cam lock for the head came out. In the sawdust somewhere. I temp replaced with a small screw/nut. The parts package was short (2) #10 nuts, tho there were about 8 extra M10x25 bolts.
But most importantly: your video on the 2013 mill shows a locking up-down head crank, where mine looks different, and has no locking mechanism. It has a tendency to vibrate lower during the cut. Is there a locking crank? Sure would be helpful.

Side note: I installed an Hr meter to track maint intervals. Cost about $10 on ebay. I mounted it to the lower lt of the motor.
