Looking at getting new tires for my timberjack and just want to see what everybody likes to run. 18.4- 26
Firestone or primex?

BargeMonkey

Spend the money on the firestone. Nothing wrong with the primex but they tend to chunk and rip easier. I have 2 primex on the front, and 2 firestone on the rear, couldnt get firestones that week when i had trouble with my 18.4's.

snowstorm

or nokia or trelloborg. every bit as good as a firestone and maybe a lot better

Primax are ok if u just work in sand and soil but if it's rough terrain at all or u run chains they just tare apart go with firestone there a great tire

on the lighter machines I have had real good luck with Samson tires.  They a not As good as firestones but at half the cost they are working good.  I think they are much better than primex
