Woodmizer band sharpener - formerly owned by Tom Cadenhead
« on: December 23, 2016, 07:37:04 PM »
I have read, understand, and agree to the terms of posting an ad on the Forestry Forum.

Up for sale is Tom Cadenhead's former Woodmizer band sharpener.  Selling because I've upgraded to a model that includes a setter.

Like me, it looks bad but it works just fine!   :D

$500.00 firm, picked up in New Hill, NC.  I will pack and ship for an additional charge to cover shipping costs.

Complete, less the stand (Tom had it clamped to a wooden stand which I did not bring with me).  It is 12volt but includes Woodmizer's 120v to 12V converter.

I'm not sure about the repost? I had replied to the original about shipping. My way of thinking. Is if I could sharpen with Tom's sharpener and, set with one of Wayne's setters. I would be in the company of a couple the greats, while in the sharpening room. ( don't know how to put in the grin emoji )  Dennis

Hi Dennis. I goofed on the original post and forgot to include the language about the FF, thus it was deleted by the admin before I saw your response.

That would be pretty cool to combine the two.

What was your shipping question?

Dennis, it looks like shipping would be somewhere in the $65 - $80.00 range, depending upon the address and if it is residential versus commercial.

At present I have had five enquirers, but no response from the first two after I sent pix.   You are next in line, with two in the wings after you.

Why dont you send me your delivery address via PM, and I will finalize the shipping quote and let you know the total amount? If you're good with that, it's yours.
