Welcome to the Forestry Forum.

Where are you a wood waste recycling technologist? Sounds to be an interesting career.

Use ATF, or an ATF/diesel blend. Sawdust doesn't stick to it like other it will motor oil and especially bar oil.

If you have an android phone you can edit your picture in your phone gallery. It will give you options of 20, 40, 60, 80% to resize to. 60% usually works for me.

Deadlines sometimes are aggravating.

A young neighbor friend asked if I could build a loft type bed for her daughter.   She sent photos as examples from Amazon.  I looked them up.  Prices ranged from $150 - to $300+/- .  No way I could match those prices.

Since it's a custom bed and I really didn't want to do it, I gave her the "I really don't want to do this price."  She said okay build it!    smiley_thumbsdown

So now I'm faced with a deadline and not much motivation other than the little daughter's excitement.

Yes, everything I build is a prototype.

Here are some pix.

To describe a bit.
Its 2 rectangular steel blocks.
One is welded to an angle iron to facilitate mounting into a vice.
The other is movable allows me to adjust the gap on the rollers.
The T handle bolt pushes on the movable block to adjust the gap.

Quote from: Peter Drouin on Today at 06:46:22 AMfluidpowerpro, Would you put up that pix of your blade de-setter?
I'm making one and having troub
I used roller bearings for the one I built. If I were to build another one I would use larger bearings. I think it would roll easier when pulling the blade through.
If you would like, I can make a dimensional  sketch of mine and post it.
Realize that it's a one off prototype so there are probably things that can be improved.
I'm having trouble posting the pix. Says file is too large. Is there a way to post from your gallery like in the past? There are pix in my gallery. I'll work on it...

The word "PROTOTYPE" speaks volumes.
