Hello from the central Kentucky hills! 'Been learning a bunch reading these posts... My wife and I have decided to get to sawing our own lumber. 40 hillside acres of hard woods and ERC with some pine. My plan is to build a shed/shelter over a 40 x 18 ft slab before we buy the mill. Currently looking at WM 15 wide or TK 1220. With the area we have to work with, the slab can't be much bigger and still have log loading and lumber offloading room. I need suggestions as to slab and shelter design. Storage area? Tractor parking? Gravel base on the log loading side? All ideas welcome!
Thanks, The Kentucky Toolsmith!

Sawmill Sheds in Sawmills and Milling

I've been coveting some of the shed designs in the above thread. I'm sure you'll do the same....
