Has anyone used the cannon carving bars? Looking for some real world experience.  I’ve got a couple projects coming up that a carving bar will be very helpful on my little 346.
Looked at Baileys selection and it seemed to be pretty good. Not afraid to spend the money if they’ll last.

If their carving bars are anything like their regular bars , them lasting isn't even a question. I am currently on my 4th ripping chain and haven't even thought of dressing the bar yet. She is as solid as it gets.

Don’t hesitate to give Bill a call at company headquarters. He would be very helpful with any questions and what bar would be the best fit for you

I wonder if they would make one for my Lucas dedicated slabber.
Two LT70s, Nyle L200 kiln, 4 head planer, 30" double surface planer, Lucas dedicated slabber, Slabmizer, and enough rolling stock and chainsaws to keep it all running.

Ok guys Bill got back in touch with me so here is the information for you guys.

Hi Mark,

Yes, we make bars for Lucas dedicated slabbing saws.
There are a couple of different sizes and mounting patterns but they can be ordered from Bailey's  https://www.baileysonline.com/cannon-87-replaceable-sprocket-nose-bar-for-lucas-mills.html

Most small saws use our C1 mount and the most popular carving bar is part number CCD-C1-12-50  here is some info about how to choose a carving bar https://www.cannonbar.com/how-to-choose-a-cannon-carving-bar/
Carving bars can also be ordered from Bailey’s  https://www.baileysonline.com/cannon-carver-12-chainsaw-carving-bar-dime-tip-ccd-c1-12-50.html

Have a happy day!

Yours truly,
