My MS660 has to sit for an hour after I shut it off before it will start again. Anyone know why?

It is heat soaked. Check for spark with a fresh spark plug when it refuses to start, if no joy the coil is heading south. The high speed may also be set too lean, try richening it up a tich if adjustable be turning the screw 1/8 counter clockwise.

Thanks for the info. I need it for milling tomorrow.

Are fins clear, air movement unobstructed? Do you let it idle a minute to cool down after using it hard? That lets the electrics cool off slowly and is easier on them, or so I'm told.

Thanks. Turned out it was the coil. Put on a new coil and works great. Thanks. Knew I could get a solution here. Appreciate it.
