I have a 394xp and found a 2095 Jonsered close to home worth the money , whats the internal differences between them.

They can use the same piston..... ::)  I could be wrong, but Don't think much else is the same. The 2094 is one nasty saw when setup right. Better have good ear protection! The 2095 is more useful because it has a compression release so you don't either break your pull start or rip your fingers off pulling that monster over!

Yes, they are very different designs, that share very little - although the bore and stroke is the same.

That's a bit funny really, as both were made (partially) at the same time, at the same factory (Husky factory in Sweden).  8)

My 394xp has a compression release on it

They also use the same crankshaft, but little else will interchange.

All 394's and 395's had the compression release as did the 2095. It was only the 2094 that didn't. Can't imagine why they brought that saw out without one.  ???

I wonder why jonsered dropped the 95cc saws?
