The plastic knob on the handle of one of my Bulldog leveling jacks was broken by a falling oak slab that got away from me. >:(  I've ordered a replacement that comes with a new push-on nut but I can't figure out what the trick is to getting the old one off.  Anyone had experience with one of these things. ???

Usually when I've removed a push on nut it is mangled by the time I get done.  If you're getting a new one with the handle, at least you don't have to be real careful with the old one.

Just pry it off, with either a pair of pliers or use the existing handle and a hammer and knock it off.

They are usally distroyed on removal, sometimes you can use an awl or small screwdriver to pry a couple of the pedals out and remove almost unharmed. Frank C.
