Hello friend I am interested in building a log splitter I was searching the internet but do not know  what I need. I have the Honda motor no problem but I am very sure there are some kits like ram jack and pumps, so need some help to what do I need so when I order I should order correct parts. Oh by the way the shaft of the motor is 1" inch.
I appreciated your help.

knowing the Horsepower of your engine would help folks recommend other components to match that size.

I am more curious to know what you will use this log splitter for?  I cant find a single tree in Qatar.

For some of you that haven't been around here for long, alsayyed bought a sawmill years back (a Norwood, I believe) and posted pictures of some of the lumber he sawed out of native species in Qatar. I think @LeeB went and visited him while working over there if I remember right. So I'm sure he has a use for a log splitter if he wants to put one together👍 Alsayyed, I have seen some component kits (hydraulic cylinder, valve, and pump) I think they are Chinese manufactured and I don't know the quality, or availability where you are. I think the one company was called "Tool Tuff Direct", I'll do a bit of checking.

That pretty cool that you work in wood in such an area of the world.  Awesome!

The store a lot of people in my area use is :

https://www.princessauto.com/en/search?Nrpp=24&Ntt=log+splitter

I have also included the log splitter search in that one.

I have the concentric 22 gpm knockoff and find it worked well on my 15 hp.

You can find it here:

Cheers man - I enjoyed the photos on your profile!
