The most waves I get are usually in the opening faces squaring up the cant, once the bark slabs are gone and it is clean square wood it tends to cut better. I'll if there are waves I'll shave a thin cut off the cant before I do the saw through. Also as I stack the boards on stickers I'll put the edges against each other, and check how flat it is cutting.

The age shown in the profile used to show up when posting, if that was your original concern. Comes when the birthdate is shown in our profile. Yours is same as mine, showing NA (i.e. not entered).
I've made a few attempts to add birthdate to my profile, but have yet to figure how to update that feature. Someday it may happen, but no rush.

Working hard on the green chain.

On breaks from grading lumber Hank can be found guarding our property from dangerous beasts. Who knows that thing could have rabies.

Once upon a time a job at the post office was a coveted gig. My dad use to say that you had to know someone to get a job there. Not the case now.

We regularly get other people's mail in our PO box. This is a REAL small post office. The people at the post office just blame each other but it never stops. How much of my mail has gone to other people's boxes? No way to know, but it is real uncomfortable to have to call someone and ask "did you mail that very large check or did the post office stick it in someone else's box?" :veryangry:

Is the company willing to cancel the checks and reissue? Sorry to hear you are getting jerked around

Some ATV winches have brakes. I use a Badlands 3500 lb winch on mine and it works good. Plan on also using a pwm motor control so you can adjust the speed.

great design and execution.  I am glad to have your face in mind, as I read your posts.  the sawing project and pig roasts are great for that in addition to many other pros.

Thanks for the suggestions guys.
I've never heard of using 2 cants that way but it sure seems like a great idea.
