My grandkids have been picking it up.  The snake doesn't seem to mind.

A lot of those around here. sometimes they will snap and hiss at you but it don't hurt none, more so kind of funny.

I couldnt see the tail or head.  Im hoping just a hognose.  It didnt move or rattle at all. 

We have copperheads but ive only seen a few.  Sposta be the capital of timber rattlers but not seen a one.  Garters and blacksnakes mostly.

I pulled a 4 foot shed out of my gutter and soffit.  Slightly creepy feeling!

He was for a few weeks.  Mice are gone though.  ;D


Its a pretty docile black snake.  I think the same one thats been coming around for years.  Did have to garden hose it off the porch once.  Really wanted in.
