18lbs power dry, 100cc and did I say 18lbs? A neck breaker of a saw to start BUT once running can make chips ) Here are a few of the trials and tribulations of taking one that hasn't been run in 30 years and getting it to cut :)

That thing is the spitting image of a 2100 Husqvarna .On that subject regarding the fuel line I found them on flea bay .

Thats because it is a light weight 2100, lots of them back in the day , flywheel  dogs were the biggest problem as less of them compared to the 2100 so they broke , 2100 were plenty hard on flywheel but these were way harder

In looking at that vid clip it solved a mystery for me .My 2100 rattles the carb loose for some reason .What I did not know it was a bracket on  the rear right side of the carb was missing .It was never there since I've owned it and I never really used that hard to pull over saw very much to rattle the carb loose . The same bracket Husky number 501-57-33-01 was used on several models .I'll
probabley have to make something because I'd imagine finding one would be a challenge .That saw is a powerfull old thing but it sure is a pain in the behind to keep it running .

Old Greenhorn

That was an easy one Al. Chainsawr has them in stock for just $5.99 (NOS, OEM). Nice to see an older saw come back to a working life. LINK

Oscar 328 Band Mill, Husky 350, 450, 562, & 372 (Clone), Mule 3010, and too many hand tools. :) Retired and trying to make a living to stay that way. NYLT Certified.
OK, maybe I'm the woodcutter now.
I work with wood, There is a rumor I might be a woodworker.

I did check and found not only ChainsawR but several others .However in looking at the saw just a few minutes ago can't determine exactly where the anchor point is .It's odd I can work on McCulloch ,Partner  .Stihl, and others but trying to figure out the thought pattern  behind Husqvarna leaves me in the lurch some times .My linage is English ,Scots and German ,I have no Swedish and evidently can't think like one . Saying that they make a good product .

Fuel lines are the same as several other models, even if they weren't , a grommet & standard diameter line can suffice. What I can't find are the Oil lines from the bar oil tank in the handle to the case & inlet to oil pump. HAVE an idea, but would be nice to have a source of those molded lines :)

It's a 4mm bolt right beside the choke  Tried to put a photo but says it's too big(never had that before). You'll see a hole to the left of the choke lever
I may be skinny but I'm a Husky guy

Evidently I read the part number incorrectly .It was only after I resorted to refering to You Tube to find out exactly what the bracket looked like .By naming the part for what it is I found several but at $20 a pop .Must be rare but I still never found the part number.
I may have messed up because I red Loctited the danged things .If I have to I can get them back out but it would be a real pain in the buttocks to do .I won't cross that bridge until I come to it but even with that AM carb it runs great .It needs tweeked in which I'll do on a big log when I get a chance .Did use it to cut the stump loose on a 30 inch dead white oak which cutting butress roots is almost the hardest cutting next to milling there is .With a full wrap handle is not real handy either .

Al_Smith

I have a thought after a thought .I've got a library of parts manuals from chainsaws to machine tools but not very much on Husqvarna .However I've got a CD compiled by a friend of mine that covers many models which I never gave it a thought in my quest for information .Like I've said before for some reason OEM Husky parts drawings are not good at listing what a part is used for just give the parts number .Some of the later parts lists could have been  updated which would make things a tad more handy . Then again as I've said many a time if restoration were easy anybody could go it . ffsmiley
