Replaced my gas line with a new OEM # 501 28 59-02 last march. Saw would not start this week. I found the nearly new gas line torn/cracked at the carb. Those who own this early model saw, are there other quality lines that fit? Part number please. Maybe I received a NOS line? The line feels a bit gooey for being 7 months old. Thanks

I recently had a gas line failure I'd never seen before on a Husqvarna 2100CD .After rebuilding the carb twice then replacing it and it still would not start I replaced the line with success ,Come to find out the line was collapsing thus shutting off the fuel flow.No gas no putt putt .In thinking about that might be the problem on another saw that's giving me fits,a 281 Husqvarna .If I recall I think I ordered a "pro Line " brand .Cost a few pennies more but well worth it .

I don't know if I annoyed the Viking gremlins that took over the saw but for some reason they don't like me .I never have a problem with McCulloch,Partner ,Homelite or Stihl or Poulan  ,only Husqvarna .Drives me nuts . whiteflag_smiley
