Me as well.  8) Well sort of. I have a working Belsaw and a Corley that needs put back together.

I'm left but the saw is right  ::) :D

Sort of also, I have a large 59" saw of all steel construction, 40' track
, hand set that I am very slowly trying to assemble on top of a Strick container trailer and then learn to use.

I run a circle mill for "fun". Nothing fancy, a reworked Belsaw.
Everyone has to be somewhere.

Does a manual swingmill count?? ;)
I make all my moves by hand and it's a circle blade.

That is a classic set up. There are still guys running jimmy 2 strokes and replacing them with the same.

I just started restoring an American Sawmill #1 that sat under a tarp in pieces for 25 years.  I hope to have running by the end of next summer.

Its really all I've ever known. Did have a brief stint with a bandmill several years ago but just couldnt get the production out of it we needed for the type of stuff we saw. It was a fine mill, just not for us. Planning on converting a CMC automatic mill to handset this winter just for the all steel frame. Moving forward but taking the mill backwards.

Here is my American Sawmill #1 when I picked it up, it had been sitting under this tarp for 25 years.

Starting to get things figured out.

Rigg

I've got a Frick 00 with UD 14A powering it.  Cut poplar and oak today with it. Would like to hook up a detroit one of these days.

My wife made a video a couple weeks ago cutting white pine.

Have any of you tried large solid saw with solid carbide teeth? It might be the way to go. My son put one on the belsaw A-14, but haven't ran it much. The cuts came out smooth.

On a sawmill?    This is done all the time on firewood processors and other log cut up systems. But on a sawmill ripping logs you would likely be soldering tips all the time.

You have a lot of parts there for one carriage. Looks like a log beam conversion for the American or you have a New England style carriage mixed in the pile. That would not be the normal set up for the American but I have seen it before.

Yes I figured out that I might have a mix of parts.  The head blocks that were actually on what was left of the block on top of the carriage where home made out of angle iron.
I have the friction disk version, not the belt drive version.  I cannot find any documentation as to what should be in this configuration.

What I do know is that I have figured out how it works enough to know that I have enough parts and I got all of those parts un-frozen to get it actually working.
I also picked up some spare parts from an even bigger mill, I think a Lane, that I hope to be able to trade some day to someone for American Sawmill parts.

To start with I will be powering it with the PTO from my tractor, I hope to eventually find a diesel engine that I can set up as a permanent power plant.

I of course, would like to find more ducumentation.

I have an old Timberking (Belsaw) that I am still working on. Sawed a few boards with it and now trying to get it running and cutting well.

I am currently resurrecting my father's old Lane sawmill. Last time we ran it was about 8 years ago, I have got all the mechanical aspects of it running and greased but the project is on hold until the spring when I can replace a section of room that is almost collapsed blocking the log deck.

So you will be 'sawen by the notches'

I haven't heard that term before. Referring to the set works?
Also I meant the roof is collapsing not room
