It ain't Ash. Mine also says Japanese Zelkova
Could be a son of a beech.
I've got a tree joke if anyone wants to here it.
I'm wondering, does it has a lot of knots? According to leaves, it seems to be an ash lancetic. Upd. I cut a lot of similar branches a few days ago. They are very dense and difficult to adjust, instead of my Fiskars loppers(specs are here (https://www.backyardstyle.com/best-loppers/#product2)). So it should be ash.
Ash has leaves that are opposite each other on the twig, these ones alternate. Zelkova has that alternating pattern, and there are 6 species of them. If it's an ornamental it could also be one of the other European species? Zelkova carpinifolia ?
