Youtube video from an American couple that were sailing the Sth Pacific just before Covid hit. They stopped in at Avarua harbour which is the main town on Rarotonga.  They look at one of the replica Vaka (sailing canoes), that had just returned from a rebuild in NZ. Not completely original as the hulls are fibreglass and it has a couple of Volvo Marine diesels (that run on Coconut oil). 

If you watch through to the end you will see why we like the place so much. 

Weekend warrior, Peterson JP test pilot, Dolmar 7900 and Stihl MS310 saws and  the usual collection of power tools :)
