Could be a son of a beech.

I've got a tree joke if anyone wants to here it.

I'm wondering, does it has a lot of knots? According to leaves, it seems to be an ash lancetic. Upd. I cut a lot of similar branches a few days ago. They are very dense and difficult to adjust, instead of my Fiskars loppers(specs are here). So it should be ash.

Ash has leaves that are opposite each other on the twig, these ones alternate. Zelkova has that alternating pattern, and there are 6 species of them. If it's an ornamental it could also be one of the other European species?   Zelkova carpinifolia ?
