how do you log out on a phone?

Sometimes in the evening after I've logged off on my laptop, I check my email on my phone. I see a message about a post or story or get tagged.
I check the forum from my phone and look at the notice.
After I'm done, I can't see a log out button on my phone.
My question is, "is there a log out button" or do I just close that window/tab without logging out?

Is someone using your devices besides you? I never log out. The forum considers you gone aver 10.inutes of not moving data
