new functions

Trying out some new functions. Don't be shy about commenting on likes and dislikes as you find them. Right now I am working on a more advanced instant messaging system. ( If you get an error, I am working on it!)

The new instant messaging is complete.  You can now be alerted when by sound if you have a new private message!  Just go to your message center and click on the preference button.  That's the one with the hammer and wrench on it.  Then just select the sound from the drop down list provided.

Another new function is the limitation of mail left in your in and out boxes. As the forum grows, this becomes a problem because it does eventually take up disk space. the mail boxes have now been limited to 20 each.

Your in box will look different now. Instead of all the messages with the newest last, you will see a list of message titles and either a new next to it if you have not read it, or a check if you have. You just click on the one you wish to read. Your mailbox should load much faster now.
