Anyone on here ever work with an international s8a ? If so what was your opinion of it ?

good skidders, wish i had a s10 grapple. they have way more power than any thing in their weight class, be careful ya don't turn it over. biggest drawback is the gearmatic, and parts for the funk transmission can be tricky. like any skidder, check the overall condition. if in good condition, it will do as well or better than any thing in its class.

Friend of mine had a fleet of S8's with 6 cyls. and they pulled good because they are well balanced with the hitch of wood . Don't no much about the mechanics of them , but he never  talked about much down time .

there is a guy on here  that had a couple of em as well. said they were awesome. i guess those and the treefarmer were similar operating. i never ran either before.
