Last Feb, I posted my probs with a backdrafting Old Mill stove that "came with the house" we just bought. Well, I got lots of great advice from many on this forum and I made a few decisions as a result...

First, that old stove went outa here this last summer as scrap steel. It was never going to be a stove I could trust and I hope it never gets used as a stove again. Bit the bullet and bought what has turned out to be 110% of what I was hoping for. Total control of the fire, no back drafts, very efficient, puts out mega heat and... maybe the most important feature for me... a large glass door. It's a Lopi Liberty stove. Can't say enough good things. I'm a very happy firewood addict!!! Now, if I can just heal up a bit, I can get back to burning. (That's another story)

Thanks to all for the info last year. It helped a lot.
