I am havin a sleding party sunday and need your ideas on stuff to use for a sled like inner tubes, rubber matresses,mylar,cardboard...whats the best for cheep? 8)
You can get cheapo molded plastic sleds now for like 3 bucks that at least have handles to hold onto. Seen some at walmart last week.
I will have to check there.I looked at K Mart and the plastic jobs were 25 bucks.
Truck hoods from the 50's and early 60's work great ;D
Heavy cardboard with a coat of wax ;) ;D

The "WinterFest" that is going on around here this weekend has a cardboard sled race.

Before I tell ya what it is, I gotta confess as to how I learned of it. :-X
I was over at my folkks place a bit ago and wanted to see the video as it just takes to long to open it at home.
Opened it and my kid brother runs over and says "oh cool, can I play?". smiley_headscratch
He goes on to tell me they do this all the time at school. smiley_headscratch
Video ends and he tells me to go to this website...............

Line Rider had quite a few different ones on utube.
Some had songs attached to the sled ride, some didn't. ;)
OK! I can see that I'm going to have to put some control on my time with this thing.
