Growing Types of Timber Suggestions
« on: July 12, 2022, 06:41:08 PM »
One day I’d like to get property.  And might want to put in trees for timber. I want a few rows of some kind of pine species for lumber.  I searched the internet; not finding good info.  Does anyone have a good resource for many types of timber trees?

Contact the local Conservation District Forester for the County that you live in. They can provide you with good information. Also, review the County's Soil Survey for trees suitable for timber growing on your property.
