and let me tell you it was no fun. After dinner Tuesday night I realized I wasn't feeling well and had a headache, so I decided to take my temp. It was 99. 30 minutes later I had chills. Cindy wasn't sleeping anywhere near me, so I slept on the couch. I use the term slept loosely, because there wasn't any sleeping going on. Fever was getting worse. I was assuming I was gonna be positive for the Rona, then I had to get up and go throw up my steak birthday dinner. Happy birthday to me. That's when I figured it wasnt the Rona and was in fact Norovirus. Threw up a few more times. Luckily didn't have the other intestinal problem common with norovirus, but I did have aches that were terrible. Fever got up to about 101 the next day and started coming back down about 24 hours after it started. Called out sick to work. Haven't done that in over 12 years. They say it can still be contagious for days afterwards, but I will just be a little more vigilant with washing my hands and such for a while. Beware the norovirus. I did a little research and it is way up right now.
