Kiko it was a pleasure getting to meet you. It's a little crazy that we only live about a hour apart but we have to travel to MI. to finally meet.

Well Jeff, I'm glad that you're OK, but I bet that the rest of the folks would still like to come back again 2 years from now, unless you don't think that your burns will be healed by then.

Folks, once again it appears that everyone had fun and that's why I was compelled to go 2yr back. Things in my life have taken a drastic turn and I'm not sure if I'll EVER be able to come back to another. I'm okay physically but I'm divorced now, and it's just not going to be the same (unless my best friend wants to come), so we'll just have to see...
Trying harder everyday.

It's been one week since the accident, and the bad spots are still bad, and the not so bad spots aŕe not so bad. The worst part of this is watching my summer go by and not being able to work on any of the things I had planned to accomplish.

Yesterday Cedar put is paw on my right hand while we were sitting. When he moved it, his dewclaw scrapped my hand, tearing the skin and making another painful spot.

This is how things looked yesterday afternoon before changing bandages.

Burns have some painful healing time.

Update on my burns. Things are coming along. Most of the open burn sores on my hands are closed over and a buch of the burnt skin has shed, leaving some very fragile new skin, that easily scrapes and bleeds, but they are healing every day.

My leg burns have a ways to go, but they are also healing noticably more every day.  Ive found that any sun on any parts of my skin is not good. Still feels like a heat lamp.

Ive started doing some stuff, and have paid a bit for it but a guy has to do what a guy has to do. 2 hours all wrapped up on the tractor yesterday mowing clover and cutting down a spruce to get a beam for the pond project I'm working on.  ffsmiley

I was thinking about your burns today. Thanks for the update. Healing will be slow, sorry for that, but glad to hear they are coming along. Just be patient and hang in there.

The clover sure liked the haircut and getting the grass mowed out.
