Got me a free drill press today for my log truck garage!

It is a big floor model the navy bought in 1953! Works like a charm! I will post model of it when I haul it home.

 Any of the machining equipment made during the war or just after will be around forever. The shipyard we go to alot really got a boost building liberty ships and that same equipment is still in the shop. We follow the auctions close and any of the bigger stuff isn't bringing scrap weight its a shame.

When you're ad it, may as well take some pictures of the garage and the set up, because we never got to see them.  Unless I missed it somewhere.

I bought a big twin drill press with two motors , two different speed and adjustable table and vise  for $ 200  about ten years ago.  Too bad, they don't make stuff like that anymore.

I do have envy and i love seeing peoples setups so one day when i build my final spot i can cobble them all together and do it right!
