1987-1995 Chevy/GMC 1500/2500/3500 Truck
« on: October 12, 2021, 10:17:09 PM »
I am looking for a 1987-1995 Chevy/GMC pickup truck.   I would love a dually with the 454 engine, and automatic transmission.  Extended cab preferred, but open to anything anyone has that fits the bill.  I need it to haul logs, haul the sawmill, and chew bubble gum.

So it needs to kick butt and chew bubble gum.  Did it just run out of bubblegum?  @Tacotodd  :D

I dont understand how I can contribute to this particular thread but I appreciate your thinking of me. Sorry that I was so slow to respond to it but I was trying to figure out HOW to respond. I believe that this is my best way say_what stupid_smiley with what I think is a head scratching & thinking about but saying that Im coming up ignorant in this case.
Trying harder everyday.

I figured you would recognize the paraphrase of the movie line I used since you got my last one.

I've got one in 350, 1/2 ton but if you wanna go backwards it'll cost $2500 more :D. Which is to say, in automatic make sure it has a 4L80 tranny rather than a 4L60. I'm not sure when the E was added to those, mines an 89 with throttle body injection, the non computer tranny and TBI is a nice setup in my little pea.

My neighbor has a pretty clean dually 3500 he is going to sell, has the 350 engine which is making some noise. Think it is 4x4.
