I have had my four poster for over 3 years now and it cuts just as good now as it did new as long as I allow it to. My Oscar 36 pales in comparison to my friend, hi-country orange, who also has his LT-70 here at my place. We can both cut bad boards as well as good any given day.

  If you can afford a hydraulic mill, go that way.  A manual mill will saw a lot of lumber, but it is hard work.  And don't forget to look at Cooks mills, they are in Alabama, and are very sturdy mills.  Jim
