Welcome graydawn,
We make a few stakes, mostly of White Ash, 4' and 5', 4 sided points.

If you do a search, there are some back threads on the subject.

Graydawn, welcome aboard, grade stakes can be a profitable sideline.I've cut a few,use what i call a cluster cut ,cut a bunch of boards one dimension multiple of the legnth you want stand em up and rip.I don't have a tipper always just used a tablesaw.I've always wondered if i made a pocket at an angle to the tablesaw blade if i could just turn the stake and cut the corners off. Best to ask local surveyers what they want.          frank C.

We make a couple of thousand stakes a week, up to 4000 or so in the summer, what would you like to know?

Here are a few threads to read up on

you can use the search button, just put in "grade stakes"

should be atleast a couple of hours worth of reading...

Welcome graydawn!

I'd like to get a stake pointer, there is always someone around here looking for stakes.
