First of all I am NOT bashing WM or Catsclaw equipment but there is a step above that goes to high speed stone and cam lock setters. It appears that I am going to purchase one and I want to look at the other guys equipment first.
I would buy from WM in a heart beat if they sold the professional series.

They do, it's called the Pro series sharpener and setter.   Quite a bit more expensive than the Shop Series which I have. Both are CBN and dual tooth set.

Just sawing, most professional saw shop equip is intended for wider bands than we commonly use.Really, probibly not cost effective unless you can find equip.used.I've got a cats claw and hope I live long enough to wear it out, its entrance level professional.Good luck, let us know what you find.Frank C.

I used to work for Armstrong Mfg, now owned by Simonds.  They make wide band grinders but also some that go down to 2" bands, their #2S will saw shake saws down to 1".  I don't know what is special about the Shake saw, maybe the smaller clamp.

I'd go with a WM CBN grinder instead of a "professional" grinder.

Here is a link to the WM Pro-Series sharper.   It looks to be much like the sharpeners WM uses in their re-sharp shops.
