How's that top look after a year and a half?  Still flat and holding fine?   ::)

I'll let you know in a year and a half, I'm going to seal it up in an 1/8 to 1/4" thick bar top finish the top, bottom and sides so it should be persevered in epoxy confinement for life.  :)
