NOT Wild Plum

Yesterday, I started out thinking I was going to discover a new fruit source. A tree I had noticed off in the swamp a few years back. A wild plum I thought. This year it has been dry and I was able to get to the tree without waders. It aint a plum! it is a Plum Leaf Crab Apple. Those were not quite ripe, so I moved on to our Highbush Cranberry patch. We had a frost last night, so after I get done sawmilling today, I'll go pick em!
