Title: woods porting

is there anyone around who does porting like madsens? not a full out race saw just a little more torque ,but an everyday saw.

Not sure if you are asking if there are any close to you. But, there are several guys around who do good work. Unfortunately I only know them by a user name on a forum. Wicked Work Saws does have a website that you can find by that name. He is in Tennessee.
Some of these other guys may know someone closer to you if that is what you want.

Wicked Saw Works = Terry Landrum

Has a great reputation.  If you don't already have the saw you would like to have modified, he sells Jonsered & Husqvarna saws & it would save you on shipping as you wouldn't have to have it shipped to him initially.

There are several builders out there.   If you send me a PM I'll be happy to give you some more information.
