It was a beautiful clear, cold, late March morning in the Eastern Upper Peninsula.  The slushy melting snow from the days before was now frozen to a sturdy crust with just a light dusting of snow cast on top during the unusually cold, zero degree night before.
The crossing track was not expected, and when measured, was almost the size of my gloved hand. Join me for my short hike into the woods near Detour Village. I promise you, you should not get cold while we see what we might see. :)

Ain't much of a tracker so not sure on those paw prints.  Big!

That's the only part of the UP we're not familiar with.  Have to get on over some day👍.
