The plant itself is not frost tolerant at all the seed is not effected nearly as much. The first frost will wipe the plants out and they’ll lay down in a mat. If however it’s gone to the point of hardseed (usually 45-55 days from planting date in this area) from what I’ve experienced you will get reestablishment in the spring.

I can get prices tomorrow. I had today off.
Winter rye will be a lot cheaper.

These are both 50# bags.
Winter rye was about $19.
That buckwheat was $139.
Jeff you got a deal!!! I don't think I can bring it into the store for what you paid.

I was 17 for rye at the clare elevator, so no middle man. You have 19. Thats pretty close!
