Got the blades home finally that go to the sawmill.

I have one 52" blade that was on the mill when I bought it.

Then the 50" blade

Next are the shanks on the three 48" saws.

Get some blue creeper if planning to remove the shanks.. just sayin....

Clean the rust off a couple of shanks and you should find either a number or a letter stamped on the shank. That is the style of shank you need. Sometimes its also stamped on the side of the saw, above the eye. Most common are a B, D, F, 2 1/2, 3, 3 1/2. Anything else will be a challenge to get shanks or teeth.

If its hard to see, you might be able to do a tracing to get it.

Looks like 2 1/2 Hoe pattern with one hole and stand all bit that pattern almost always uses. Oversize shanks are common in 2 1/2, there are 4 of these so you need to find the stampings.

Yes. But I read the stamp on the shank as a fraction. 21/27. I blame our heat wave in Georgia.
