Using xps in my wrap and strap to enclose my timberframe, and while sorting through the options in caulk for sealing the foam panels I noticed great stuff pro floor and wall adhesive. It's a foam based adhesive that by its own promotion seems to be a suitable and high quality approach. The gun needed for application offers the option to be able to use part of a can and save the rest for later. It's temp. range for application and moisture resistance is also an advantage. Is anybody familiar with this product that can offer insight regarding it's success in my application? Thanks

No experience to offer, just curiosity about the product.  Is the Wall and Floor the particular product you are looking at?

Folks may also have experience with the consumer-marketed stuff for sealing sills and cracks:

Yes, their floor and wall product is the one I'm considering. They have several others under the "great stuff pro" series that are used with the gun you have to purchase to be able to use the cans,  but I believe the others are basically expanding foams of various expansion rates/thickness. I think the floor and wall, though foam based, is an adhesive made to compete with caulk adhesives like subfloor formulas. It's polyurethane based. I'd be using it primarily as a bead on studs and between sheets which will also get taped and strapped.

They used the great stuff pro gaps and cracks (orange) to seal the Murus sips on my project.
Anything someone can design, I can sure figure out how to fix!
If I say it\\\\\\\'s going to take so long, multiply that by at least 3!
