Do the Stihl bars that fit the 088, do they also fit the 084?  Do the bars that fit the 084, fit the 066?  I'm new to the very large Stihl's.  All of my experience is with the much smaller saws.

IIRC, the early 088 used the same mount as the 070 and 090 which is now obsolete, the later ones came with the more common large frame.

Sawguy 21 does the common large frame bars fit the 084 and/or 066 magnum?

No, 084 is a larger slot.
