Beginner Timber Frame Class
April 6 through April 10 2022

This course is located at a farm near Avalanche, Wisconsin. The property is a beautiful, 77 acre ridgetop, organic farm in the scenic Driftless region of southwest Wisconsin. We will be building a 24 X 36 Cabin with porch. There is a maximum of 6 students, and cost is $350.00. Up to date COVID immunizations are required. Electricity and water is available, and primitive camping and RVs are welcome. Restaurants and hotels are available in Westby and Viroqua, 7 miles away.

At the end of this course, students should possess the knowledge to square timbers, and cut common timber frame joints using square rule. It is also a great opportunity to meet others sharing a common interest in the upper Midwest region.
