I'm planing on cutting a lot of T&G decking and flooring so I'm investing in a 4 sider.  I had settled on a 260 until I noticed how few knife patterns there seem to be.  It has all the basics, but I don't see a lot of ready to ship knives for the side cutters.  Are people ordering them custom?  If so, is it a knock on the machine or just not a large enough market to warrant mass production of more than the normal patterns?

I'm thinking less common profile cabinet stock for accepting raised panels.  A shaper will do just fine if I'm working with good blanks anyways, but I'd much rather feed a 260 than a shaper with a power feeder.

I bought a 260 used  awhile ago and just ran flooring this winter. I bought the side cutters on line and had no trouble getting the profile I wanted. I did buy from the place that makes them.
