Is the inlet needle metering lever at the proper height? The idle circuit may also be partially blocked.

did you soak it in carb. cleaner?  did you replace fuel line and filter.  not getting enough fuel i would say.

Clean it well with carb cleaner, new filter, fuel line ,found the end of impulse  line crack, fix that, still running the same?

the idle circuit is often the problem, kind of like the ground on 12 volt systems.  did you spray it or soak it.  may have to put a gentle wire through it.  i spray to get by, but if it does not work, I soak well before a rebuild or buy a new carb. if not too expensive.

was this the problem that inspired the carb. rebuild?  start eliminating possibilities.  in other words, is the running issue ongoing and not fixed by the rebuild, or a new problem only after the rebuild.  the former means it is something you have not fixed yet so new list of stuff.  the later means you did not rebuild/clean the carb properly and created a new problem, that will be fixed by re-doing the carb.  this may be overly simple but part of the diagnostic process.  answer that and the real carb./chainsaw gurus can chime in (i.e. not me! :)).  @sawguy21  @stan064
