I don't know why but for some reason this tune popped into my head This morning. I used to sing it often for my own amusement.

I always liked this song but this little lady puts the wood to skin here!
Look how she's tip toeing the bass drum.

Couple of legends on stage here.  I think it's well worth the almost 40 minute listen.

Brad, I really enjoyed the young lady on the skins, She had it all going on. BUT the B.B. King set just took me down the hole. Holy cow that was good, and yeah I watched it all. It's always amazes me when the Masters have a major spotlight gig like that who they bring on stage with them. I always wanted to meet Mr. King but the stars never aligned for that. He is a gem none the less and a true master of his art. I enjoyed that more than most would think. Thank you.

This thread has ruined me.  Now I go in and go to Youtube, and play songs from the 60's for entertainment. Had not thought of finding all the old stuff I enjoyed available like this.  Sad part is I found the Seekers had made a lot more from later on there as well, as well as all the Judith Durham songs she did solo,  but a couple days ago I clicked on Keith Potger doing a couple songs, and he was playing at an old folks home, and the base player was in the audience.  Looked like he has  had a stroke, and was using a walker to get around.
Most everything I enjoy doing turns out to be work

You're welcome.  I had never listened to a lot of B.B. King in the past and I had put it on as I am a big Slash fan and wanted to see how this "group" worked together on stage.  Needless to say, B.B King has been added to my general playlists.
Youtube suckered me in today while I was looking for that little screw which holds the lens in a glasses frame.  If they can play like this, I'll allow myself to be suckered in every time.

Doesn't anybody realize there are only 2 kinds of music ; country [hillbilly] and western !

It don't seem to matter where they grew up but it seems like most of those country singers sound a bit like Mr Haney from Green Acres.....just saying. :D

Was watching something on TCM tonight and these guys came to mind and down the rabbit hole I went. I have to say, this is one of the sweetest and most memorable songs in my memory and will always be dear to me. I first 'discovered' it in a neighborhood tavern juke box when I was about 21, but it struck a chord and stuck with me ever since. Maybe it was an 'old man's bar' but I loved the neighborhood and the people in that corner tavern we had when we were first married nearly 50 years ago. I think the old guys in the place got a kick out of me picking it out on the jukebox and singing along when it came on
