I have 3 fairly good sized Black Cherry trees. It's July now, should I cut them now, mill and sticker up to dry? Or would it be best to wait until fall/winter to cut, mill and sticker? Or, cut now and seal the ends and wait until cooler weather to mill and dry? Not sure how to handle hardwoods as far as the best times to harvest.

I do not have any issues with sawing cherry at anytime of the year.  With reasonably good air flow, it is not bad to sticker stain.

In the Georgia heat, even if you seal the ends of logs, the outer shell of the logs will dry out while the core is still wet and the outside of the logs will develop checks and cracks, some deep, ruining some good grade clear boards off the outer part of the log. I find I get the best grade and yield by sawing the logs as soon after felling as possible.
