Wood-Mizer has really upgraded their web-site and appears to continually expanding it. Or at least I keep finding more things.

Today I've found that they have published their 32-page pamphlet titled "Wood-Mizer & You - A profitable combination" in PDF format you can view and/or print.

Wood-Mizer & You - A profitable combination

This publication comes with a new mill and maybe is sent by request.   It contains a lot of formulation for analyzing the profitability of buying a mill - showing three examples - manual LT40, LT40HD, and LT40HD Super.

It also covers:
How can I make money with my Wood-Mizer?
How much do I charge?
Value added manufacturing. (By Gene Wengert)
Five factors necessary for a successful business.
What about Liability?
101 ways to use a Wood-Mizer
Sample Custom Cutting Contract.

Excellent info, Bibby. Thanks

No need to thank me.  It was nice of Wood-Mizer to make it available to everyone on their web site.

BTW,  Just because itís a Wood-Mizer publication and on their web site and use their mills as examples for profitability study,  does not mean itís only useful to Wood-Mizer owners.  Everything there is of general interest to someone wanting to make good business decisions about running a small sawmill.  :P
