i was looking at my slab trailer the other day, and it occurred to me that it had all the guts for a log arch..pretty stout
channel stock..axle and wheels...yup, i think I could turn that into an arch..

So i went and bought another trailer kit with bigger wheels..and went to whackin' at it..i have the arch itself put together,
just gotta do the tongue, wheels and trimmings...planning a hand winch and pulley sheave to lift logs..i'm a little light in the britches to lever a log of any size up...

i'll post up some pics when i get it done..

Zopi, does your tractor have a three point hitch??if so hook the tung of the arch to the drawbar and hook the cable to the three point hitch to power raise the log.Run a bar between the two lower arms and pulley on the tung

I want to be able to use the arch as a fetching arch..it's got to be independent of the tractor..
