uhh, yea, sorry bout that one, but still a great idea,  and will work for me, there have been many times I wanted to take some heavy cuts then go back to 1-1/8 when the desired look was not there,  I got in some large pin oaks sat, he wants some thick and reg, 1"  he gave me the wheel to cut what I think best, this idea was perfect timing, thanks,     david
only have a few chain saws I'm not suppose to use, but will at times, one dog Dolly, pretty good dog, just not sure what for yet,  working on getting the gardening back in order, and kinda thinking on maybe a small bbq bizz,  thinking about it,

Good deal!  The 2 3/8 thick stock, I call it 9/4, gives you just enough meat on the bones to plane down to 2"  full thickness.  That is very nice for bar or counter tops.
