Title: Beech Leaf Disease
Post by: Ron Scott on November 17, 2018, 08:50:14 PM

RE:  BEECH LEAF DISEASE

This is NOT Beech Bark Disease, which we're all familiar with.  Identified in 2012, it's currently being researched.  Not that beech hasn't already been pretty-much wiped out by BBD.

Is the BBD and BLD up in North Eastern PA? Seems somethings gonna kill every tree out there. I have no live ashes left basically anywhere near me, all the Oaks were logged years ago on my mountain so I have tons of Beech, Maple, Chery..... So what do I look for on the Beech trees for both diseases?
